San Mateo Medical Center provides designated disposal bins for medical sharps and needles located outside the main entrance and the west entrance. Please note: This service is available to San Mateo County residents only. For questions or additional information, please contact the medical center directly. Sharps must be placed in puncture-proof containers no larger than one gallon before being deposited.
