Safeway is partnered with NexTrex to recycle plastic bags and film packaging. If the package will stretch when you pull it, it can be included. If it is shiny, makes a crinkly/crunchy sound in your hand, or tears like paper, do NOT recycle in the NexTrex bin. Plastic film must be clean and dry; please remove all other materials like paper labels, tape, paper receipts, food residue and crumbs, and crinkly or rigid plastics (bottles and tubs).

Also accepts empty CRV beverage containers: glass, plastic, and aluminum. Located in customer service. Bring in household amounts. If you have large amounts, call ahead before bringing in.
